The Loop Arcade: An O.C.D. Exhibition - Campaign

The Loop Arcade: An O.C.D. Exhibition – A concept + campaign to raise awareness for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (O.C.D.). This project was submitted for my Final Year Project, showcased in my school's annual design show and nominated for the Crowbar Awards 2017 as well as the Philips Design Awards. Enjoy. :)

The characters and gameplay portrayed throughout the series was heavily inspired from the actual video games themselves with the purpose of introducing the issue with a sense of familiarity and, as a result a better understanding of the disorder, when the audience is able to link the mechanics of the games to the characteristics of O.C.D.
A series of 4 TVCs, each one attempting to explain the different (common) categories of O.C.D., were also created for this campaign. Below is one of them (which portrays the 'doubting' O.C.D.), inspired by the mechanics of the classic popular gameplay of 'Super Mario'.
